Global provider of critical event management and resilience software lands coveted spot in Leaders’ Quadrant, receives highest scores in vision and commercial strategy category and four functional capabilities

Global provider of critical event management and resilience software, Noggin, a Motorola Solutions company, today announced that it received the highest overall score in the “Green Quadrant: Operational Resilience Software 2024” report. Published by independent research and advisory firm, Verdantix, the report provides a detailed, objective benchmark of 10 of the most prominent operational resilience (OpRes) software solution providers on the market.

For enterprise and government organizations, disruption, whether due to geopolitical, public-health, or severe-weather events, high-profile cyber incidents, or process failures, has become a constant. Against this backdrop, resilience has become a strategic imperative, with the report finding that many executives have recognized that a lack of digitization and technology often leads to incapacitation.

Accordingly, senior leaders have turned to effective operational resilience software and integrated solutions to address vulnerabilities throughout their operations. The report defines OpRes software as specialized solutions that help to enhance firms’ foresight into predicting, preventing, withstanding, adapting to, and rebounding from unexpected disruption and risks across various operational domains.

As a leading vendor, Noggin has innovated to meet the increased customer demand, with its solutions providing significant benefits, such as enhanced delivery efficiency, improved crisis management, better board reporting, and stronger regulatory preparedness.

Across the key functionality areas in which vendors’ capabilities were assessed, Noggin earned the preeminent spot in the Leaders’ Quadrant, a testament to the breadth and depth of its capabilities. The report also cited Noggin for market-leading supply chain risk management, workforce and talent risk management, physical asset risk management, and operational risk management (ORM) capabilities. In addition, Noggin earned the top momentum score in the vision and commercial strategy category, a measure of the company’s vision for how the OpRes software market will evolve.

“In our assessment, the Noggin platform stands out as an adaptable software solution, particularly beneficial for organizations in the early stages of building their resilience architecture or those needing customized solutions tailored to specific industry requirements,” assessed Elizabeth Babalola, Industry Analyst, Verdantix, with Katelyn Johnson, Principal Analyst, Verdantix. “Existing users consistently highlight Noggin’s intuitive interface, extensive configurability and user-friendly design, all of which make it an attractive choice for businesses seeking flexibility.”

“We are thrilled by our top placement in the inaugural Verdantix Green Quadrant on operational resilience,” said James Boddam-Whetham, General Manager, Noggin. “Noggin has a long heritage in resilience. The report now identifies the growing trend towards consolidating resilience efforts within a unified, cohesive framework, such as Noggin’s integrated resilience offering. Now as a Motorola Solutions company, Noggin is even better placed to continue to help organizations globally to capitalize on this trend, by not only better understanding their business processes but also enhancing their ability to respond more efficiently to business disruption.”
