This is a Core Module that is available for all Noggin solutions. This module helps manage the lifecycle of documents such as policies and procedures that are created as a draft, then they can be periodically reviewed and approved prior to appearing in the register of approved documents. They can also be periodically reviewed and approved, and the old version is automatically archived, and the version number is incremented. The old versions of controlled documents can be viewed from the current version’s dashboard. Once a document is approved, the document owner can trigger an update notification to various users, and each notifyee can acknowledge that they have read and understood the document. A record is also kept of people who have been notified of an update but have not made an acknowledgment. These controlled documents can also be searched for using text and meta data and filtered in other dashboards across the Noggin system.
